Beyond Sde Boker’s familiar landmarks lies a landscape of ridges, viewpoints, lesser-known archaeological sites and shady corners beneath large trees. A private two-hour outing gives you a glimpse of this wider region, with guiding that connects the scenery with the details and stories along the way.
The jeep and guide are yours alone. We select stops in the Boker, Halukim and Hatira ridge area according to your interests, the season, time of day and weather.
There is much to discover beyond Sde Boker’s best-known sites. Among the Boker, Halukim and Hatira ridges are viewpoints and archaeological places that are easy to miss on a regular visit. Knowing the region helps us choose the corners that suit your outing.
We drive between selected viewpoints, stopping to take in the landscape and hear its story, with room for your questions and whatever catches your attention.

We choose stops within the wider Sde Boker area according to your interests, the season, time of day and weather. We do not promise a visit to every ridge.
The regular two-hour tour does not include Ein Akev. There is a separate two-and-a-half-hour spring outing, and it can also be included in a four-hour tour. Two hours are not enough to reach the spring and swim. This tour suits visitors who want to explore and understand the region; the spring outing focuses on the experience of swimming in a natural desert pool.
There is usually no time for a coffee stop on the two-hour tour. We devote the time to exploring and guiding at the chosen stops.
Prices are in Israeli shekels (NIS), including VAT, per private jeep. The rate depends on vehicle size and tour date.
