הייתי בהדרכת אסטרונומיה של נדב בחוות נאות, שהיתה כמה רמות מעל המצופה ובלי ספק הכי טובה שחוויתי עד כה.
שעתיים של הסברים מרתקים על מערכת השמש וקבוצות הכוכבים, מתוך ידע בלתי נדלה של נדב שהצליח לפשט את הדברים וענה בסבלנות רבה על כל השאלות.
התצפית בטלסקופ היתה מרהיבה, בסופה גם זכינו לראות את שבתאי בצורה מעוררת התפעלות.

אני ממליץ בחום על סוכנות הטיולים אדם סלע! הם לקחו אותנו לסיור ג'יפים מדברי נפלא למעיין טבעי יפהפה וכולם נהנו מאוד. הם היו מדריכים מקצועיים ביותר, נהגים מצוינים בשטח קשה, והגישו קפה מבושל טעים עם הרבה מים קרים. והחלק הכי טוב היה המחיר הסביר! שקלנו לקחת סיור ג'יפים שאורגן על ידי מלון קדמה, אבל זה היה כפול מהמחיר - כל כך שמחנו שלא רימו אותנו המלון והחלטנו ללכת עם אדם סלע במקום. אנחנו ממליצים בחום להזמין את ההרפתקה המדברית שלכם דרכם!

חופשה אחת עם שתי חוויות מהממות.
תצפית כוכבים עם אדם סלע במכתש רמון, שבה למדנו על כיפת השמים וראינו את גרמי השמיים השונים באמצעות טלסקופ.
טיול זריחה במכתש רמון עם ג'יפ ונאור המדריך שהצליח להתחבר גם אלינו וגם לילדים וללמד אותנו בדרך חווייתית על המכתש.
בטוח שנחזור לטייל וללמוד עם אדם והצוות שלו גם בחופשות הבאות.
נקודת המפגש במרכז המבקרים במצפה רמון. מומלץ לבצע הזמנה לפעילות מבעוד מועד. בחרנו במבצע למשפחות שכלל טיול ג'יפ במכתש וסנפלינג של 15 מ'. הפעילות ארכה 3 שעות בעלות של 1,500 ש"ח (העלות לכל המשפחה ועד 6 אנשים בג'יפ). יש באתר של החברההצעות נוספות בהתאם לרמת הניסיון.
נאור, מדריך הדרך, המתין לנו בג'יפ לנד-רובר אדום. לאחר סבב היכרות קצר, נכנסנו לג'יפ ונסענו אל לב המכתש. הראות המדהימה שליוותה אותנו במהלך הטיול רק הוסיפה תפאורה שובת עיניים לנוף עוצר הנשימה של המכתש.
הטיול היה מסעיר חושים ולא רק בגלל המסלול המאתגר שגרם לנו להתפעם מיכולותיו של הג'יפ, אלא בעיקר ההסברים המוחשיים והמרתקים של נאור על היווצרות המכתש, על הרי הגעש הפזורים במכתש, על המחצבות שנסגרות ועל הציניות וההומור שליוו אותנו במשך השעתיים שבילינו במחיצתו.
בתום הטיול, המתין לנו אדם סלע (איש אשכולות שעלה מקניה, מלבד היותו בעל חברת התיירות, הוא גם אחראי הבטחון במדרשת בן גוריון), שהדריך אותנו בסנפלינג.
בתי בת ה-10 שזו לה הפעם הראשונה, גלשה בבטחון מלא בהדרכתו.

Our four hour jeep tour with guide Boaz was the highlight of our 2 night stay in Mitzpeh Ramon. Boaz is delightfully modest and mild mannered. He is so very knowledgeable about the geology, flora and fauna of the crater and the history of Mitzpeh Ramon. Perhaps most impressive, was his familiarity with the challenging terrain and great skill in... navigating the jeep through some mighty (dangerous and frightening) unusual terrain. We felt totally confident, comfortable and secure with him driving and navigating. We learned a lot and thoroghly enjoyed ourselves.read more
I hired Adam and his crew for two guided trips -- a two day/one night hiking/camping trip from Machtesh Ramon => the Arava, and a separate one-day hike Divshon Ascent => Ein Akev => Avdat. Both were just *spectacular*. It wasn't cheap but I was traveling alone and the trails are pretty steep and rough; it would be easy to get lost or injured,... and especially at my age (67) I would not have wanted to attempt this on my own. Naor was a great guide: interesting, attentive, supportive and great company. Logistical support from Adam and Boaz -- jeep transport to trailheads and at camp (great food, cold beer and camp set-up) -- were just super. I've been to Israel many times, including to the Machtesh, but this was some of the best three days of hiking anywhere/any time. I'm sure jeep tours and shorter hikes with Adam would also be great. However, if you have the time and money, I can't recommend a longer longer trip with Adam and Naor highly enough.read more

One holiday with two wonderful experiences. A stargazing session with Adam Sela in Ramon Crater, where we learned about the night sky and saw different celestial objects through a telescope. A sunrise tour in Ramon Crater with a jeep and Naor, our guide, who connected with us and the children and taught us about the crater in an engaging way. We will definitely return to explore and learn with Adam and his team on our future holidays, too.
